Team Tanzania - Getting Ready

The tickets are printed, the passports have returned from the Tanzanian consulate in Ottawa and we have had a good response from clubs, organizations and individuals with money to support the projects. A special thanks to Julie at Chris Snyder's office for co-ordinating all the paperwork.
Another special thanks to Julia Fox, our CACHA contact in Tanzania, for all her help in lining up projects and building the contacts in the community of Kilema.

The team leaves on January 13th and returns on January 31st.  Please watch this blog site for stories and updates from the team throughout the trip.  We would love to hear your thoughts and ideas about the trip as it proceeds, so please feel free to comment on our post.

I saw the excitement coming from this group at the Toronto airport. With the enthusism shown by this group, this expedition can only surpass their expectations. I look forward to following your daily blogs. Best of luck and enjoy your 18 days.

You missed an extremely cold week here. Temps between -15 and -25 Celcius degrees. We also got some good news on our Blue Rodeo Concert, things are moving forward. Saw a nice picture of Susan. How was the cake? Nice to see you made it over OK. Stay safe and will try to get back to you soon. John E. (Alliston)

Hi Team

We are glad you all made it safe and sound. It sounds like a very busy and rewarding time is being had by all. It is wonderful that you have all taking the time to make such a difference .....

You are missing a very cold spell in Ontario...brrrrrr. Please make sure that Aunt Kelly, Susan and Dave are all well behaved!

We have had a busy week...skating competition on the weekend. Gabby won Gold and Livi won Bronze. Gabby also sprained her finger in a basketball game tonight. She is glad it is her left hand so it disrupt her school work!!

Take good care and safe return home.

Hugs,
Gabby, Livi and Molly
